Creating Passes - How to make simple Passes as a Teacher

1. Now vs. Future

2. Select Student(s)

2. Select Student(s)

Teachers can create Passes for Students by making a Pass for Now or a Pass for the Future. If a Teacher wants a Student to have a Pass for right now, then he or she would select Now button from the Create Pass section. If a Teacher wants a Student to have a Scheduled Pass for the future, then he or she would click the Future button in the same are.

  • Now: When a Teacher sends a Pass for Now, the Pass is automatically sent to the Student(s) and it automatically starts.
  • Future: When a Teacher sends a Pass for the Future, the Pass can either be sent as a Pass Request or as a Scheduled Pass.

Teachers select the travel type of the Pass and the Pass duration. Administrators customize both in the Room set up.

Travel type: This indicates whether it is a round-trip Pass or a one-way Pass. For example, a Pass to the Bathroom would be round-trip, since a Student is going to the Bathroom and then coming back to class.

Duration: This indicates the maximum time the Teacher expects the Student(s) to need the Pass.
